1 pound of ground turkey
2 tbs olive oil
1 tsp garlic salt
2 tsp italian seasoning
1 box of Barilla oven-ready lasagana
2, 26ish oz jars Classico Family Traditional Marinara sauce
1, 6 oz can tomato paste
1 16 oz tub of part-skim ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
Gather ingredients and throw together this easy peasy lasagna!
Put the olive oil in the pan to coat the pan and heat to medium-low heat. Add the ground turkey and sprinkle with garlic salt, and italian seasoning, cover with a lid and cook until its no longer pink and looks white (usually 20 minutes or so). Stir in both jars of sauce and the tomato paste. Set aside. Prepare the casserole dish by pouring about 1/2 cup of the sauce in the bottom of the dish and spread. Mix together the ricotta and eggs and set aside. Layer 5 of the dry lasagana noodles side by side across the bottom of the casserole dish. Add 2 cups of the sauce and spread over the pasta noodles. Add 1/2 the ricotta-egg mixture and spread too(not super easy but doable!) Spinkle 1 cup of the mozzarella across the lasagna. Repeat these steps one more time. This lasagna only has 2 layers. Bake at 400 for 40 minutes or until cheese is melted and slighly crispy.
Serve with your fav salad or steamed broccoli.
